中心专职研究人员 Peter Herrmann 中南大学人权研究中心研究员，现任欧洲科学与艺术学院（The European Academy of Science and Arts）院士，中南大学法学院教授，欧洲学术界（Euro Academia）成员，《社会学国际评论》期刊学术委员会委员。2011年起担任荷兰海牙EFSQ-ISS/IASQ-ISS可持续发展研究小组顾问、莫斯科VCUG-全俄罗斯生活水平中心顾问委员会成员、德国柏林批判理论研究所(Institut fur Kritische Theorie)研究员。 曾任浙江大学社会保障与风险管理系公共事务学院高级外国专家、上海大学外语系教授、匈牙利布达佩斯科维努斯大学名誉副教授，是德国马普国际社会法律研究所访问学者、台湾国立台湾大学人文社会科学研究所访问教授。曾在维也纳政治科学大学、科克大学亚洲研究学院、莫斯科普列汉诺夫大学、布达佩斯科维努斯大学、埃尔特大学等世界各地十余所高校担任客座教授并开设课程或讲座。 Peter教授主要研究领域为法学、社会学、政治与社会学等。参编著作150余部，在European Journal of Social（SSCI）和The International Journal of the History of Sport（SSCI）等期刊发表论文200多篇。
